HR professionals who dismiss the impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on the workforce, or who haven't much thought about it, may be in for a rude shock.

Our research shows most HR practitioners don't realise how sophisticated AI and robots actually are, and how close the new technologies are to being widely deployed.

Empathetic robots and software. Creative robots and software. And robots that capable of doing fiddly tactile jobs, such as gourmet cooking or working as organic farmers.

All of these may well be coming to a workplace near you.
