Following the Government’s release of the terms of reference for the Productivity Commission Inquiry into the Workplace Relations Framework on 19 December 2014, the Productivity Commission has released its proposed timetable.

Following the Government’s release of the terms of reference for the Productivity Commission Inquiry into the Workplace Relations Framework on 19 December 2014, the Productivity Commission has released its proposed timetable.

The release of issues papers is also expected soon – these will help define areas of focus and guide the content of submissions.

The full timetable is as follows:

January 2015: Productivity Commission to release an issues paper to assist in the preparation of submissions.

Friday, 13 March 2015: Initial submissions due.

June/July 2015: Draft report released and Productivity Commission to seek further information and feedback.

November 2015: Inquiry report expected to be handed down and will be tabled in Parliament within 25 sitting days of receipt.
