The Federal Government’s announced WorkChoices – A New Workplace Relations System - is best seen as a blueprint for change over the next five or more years. The changes will impact on different employers at different times – depending on the incorporated or unincorporated nature of each employer and the existence of current award/agreement coverage.

The table summarises the impact of the proposed changes on the various categories of employers (defined by the incorporated/unincorporated nature of employers and the current award/agreement coverage of employers).
