The Fair Work Commission will be launching its new website on Friday, 8 July 2016.

The new website’s design and features are based on feedback provided by stakeholders during a website usability review last year.

Focus has been on:
  • providing a single entry point for searching Commission documents
  • improving site navigation
  • redesigning the information architecture
  • improving quality of the content.

Changes that may affect you

The FWC media release notes:

“You will notice that the location of some pages and the website navigation have changed.

For example:
  • the new Search Documents function combines searches for:
    • recent decisions and orders
    • find an award
    • find an agreement
  • search hints and tips are now available from the search results page
  • the Contact us page is now accessed at the top of the home page
  • Online lodgment (eFiling), benchbooks and guides are now accessible in the new Resources tab on the home page.

As a result of these changes you may need to update any bookmarks you have.

Other new features include dedicated quick links for different user groups and easier access to forms from the home page.

In the weeks following the release of the new website we will also launch our Online Lodgment Service (OLS). The OLS replaces the existing eFiling system and is the first step towards the implementation of smart forms for the lodgment of Commission applications.

We will provide you with further information about the OLS before the launch of the new online lodgement service.

We are also committed to continually reviewing and updating our website as part of our improvement program and would appreciate your ongoing feedback and suggestions.”

Questions and feedback can be emailed to the Commission’s new website email.
