Menadue to address IR lunch on ‘loss of truth in public affairs’

The loss of truth in public affairs and lack of policy innovation in Australia will be the subject of a speech by John Menadue to the inaugural Industrial Relations Society of NSW Patrons Lunch this month.

The loss of truth in public affairs and lack of policy innovation in Australia will be the subject of a speech by John Menadue to the inaugural Industrial Relations Society of NSW Patrons Lunch this month.

Menadue is a former General Manager of News Limited and Qantas and Head of the Department of Prime Minister, and is now one of the forces behind New Matilda, a weekly online magazine.

The lunch will be held at The American Club, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney on 23 June, commencing at 12.30.

The lunch will also provide an opportunity to informally discuss pending workplace relations reforms and say goodbye to John Cahill, who will be stepping down from his role as Patron of the Industrial Relations Society NSW in 2005.
