Every registered club in NSW will soon have a booklet explaining the effect of WorkChoices, funded by the Federal Government.

Chairman of ClubsNSW Peter Newell said the booklet was aimed at making the transition easier for those working in the Club Industry.

Contents

The booklet will provide information on:

  • State and Federal wage rates
  • Different implications in NSW for corporations and unincorporated entities
  • The new Notional Agreements Preserving State Awards
  • Superannuation
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Discrimination
  • Annual leave and long service leave

The Club Industry is the third largest Industry in NSW with more than 52,000 employees.
